unhappy with your riches cuz you're piss poor morally





I got the best grades of my life this session...I'm pretty sure.

Oh, yeah! I realized today that Facebook allows people to experience the whole photo-lj experience of posting their pictures with captions and then releasing them and awaiting comments and being all crazy excited. Way to go Facebook...is it even a good feeling? I don't know (idk!!!) but more people are experiencing it, and they're addicted like we all probably were here on LJ. Dude RIP LJ 2003-2007ish.

I read Twilight...and now I'm embarrassed.





I explained the idea of this photo to my mom today, how it stood for memories, or reminders. The ribbon represented her thought and was so braided into her hair from her mind, around her arm and tied in a reminder bow on her finger, and my mom said, "Dominic, you are so talented." and I was really happy. I think it's the first thing I've ever explained to her conceptually or something, so that's why she liked it so much...I don't know. I also realize that her saying I'm "so talented" is subjective, because she's my mother, and that it's an opinion and not necessarily a fact.



So that's most of what I turned in for 103, which I passed so now I'm moving on to 200. Hootie Hoo!
School is a breeze and life is easy right now and I'm not looking forward to when it gets hard, (that's what she said), especially if it's in the summer. Weaksauce.

I wish I could draw a sweet peace sign to put right here for the end. OH! Which reminds me...we get to use Wacom Tablets in Digital Lab so I mostly just draw in there. I have another one of a pirate that's in my email that I'll try to post.

Don't talk to me about her disproportionate(?) eyeballs, I know!

haha, i've been smokin it up every day lately too *_* but i'm also doin really good in school, so hey, that's enough samples to scientifically confirm that everyone should toke it up more often if you want to be smart. nice stuff as usual dominic.

Ironically, really unprofessional ones like...in the ribbon ones that are twilight-inspired, I used one of those large hot lights/work lights from Home Depot. You know the ones everyone has in their garage? But lately, I've been using smith victors!
And no way! that's so legit, I really need to fucking make some money while shooting because I have never ever been paid for it monetarily, only through bottles of alcohol.

I liked it too, I mean the writing wasn't perfect but it was fluffy enough to occupy my mind for winter break. I read all three in like 5 days and I did nothing else, hahaha.

I really like those ribbon photos. The color of the ribbon is gorgeous, which I think adds to the photo. It's a pretty ribbon to look at. What am I saying?! I make no sense, ever! I used to want to be an artist really badly, like famous Dali status, so I tried to learn to draw...I didn't get so far, so now I just draw lil cartoons on everything.

Twilight is good...ish. There are so many typos, especially in Eclipse...and just sentences that don't really make sense so it completely stops the flow of the book, but they're good. Slow though, I just kept going because I knew there would be dope action at the end of each one so it kept me motivated. Now I'm hooked though and I have to read the new one in August haha. It's worth a try, see if you can borrow it from a friend or something.

You know what your work reminds me of, honestly? It kinds of reminds me that there is a lot of life in human emotion. A lot of depth, and even if you described the emotion to someone, it is perceived differently than how you originally felt it.
