It's a Kodak Moment

let me go and get my camera
With one week of freedom to do as I please in Santa Barbara while the weather is the most beautiful its been as long as I've been here, I've naturally decided to stay inside and update my livejournal.
This session at school was interesting, I took Speech and Lighting Theory and I think I got an A and a B, so I'm happy. I really don't know what else to write anymore, a lot of my friends from College just went back home, some for good and others just for break and I feel equally upset about all of their departures.
I'm just going to jump into pictures, because I think the stories behind them take care of themselves while I'm captioning.
First: Didi Gochez and Maya are creative little kids. They made this music video to Vampire Weekend for Video Productions, and it's fly. You should definitely watch it, or at least let the music play while you're peeping the rest of these pictures.
In keeping in the theme of Didi, I took some picures of her while I was home in March.

Didi also got a Digital Rebel Xti which is proof that we should be biological siblings.
One of this session's assignments was CD Cover.
I shot Jackie and had to reshoot, but I really liked how these came out anyway.

Fierce Tranny from Transylvania who is Not Apologizing For It!?!?!

P.S. I saw Baby Mama, and Amy Poehler should really be more famous than she is.

This is my friend Nate, who left a few days ago to drive back home to Connecticut, where he's going to live from now on.
It's really sad.

These are the homies with whom I kick it on a daily basis.

I took these of Eric for 103 in February? Time flies.

Has anyone read The Time-Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger? I need someone to confer with about the movie and how amazing or terrible it's going to be!
Walter and Nate bought a Slip and Slide when the weather was starting to improve...it's broken now. :)

Oh and I shaved Nate's head stoned one night, and Patty took pictures!

Fin.

But only Fin with his hair, not with this post!
Alec discovered a magical land, around the corner from our house. It's enormous and simultaneously looks like San Francisco, Africa, and Ireland.
Natalie Ferne's BF Derrick was here and we took him to Africa.
I realize this doesn't look like Africa, but we've come to referring to the entire park as being "Africa".

This one is dark, but only because they love Metal together.

:D

Jackie and I went to L.A. for Easter and stayed with her sister.
And her niece Olivia!

The Newlyweds, Tiff and Jill.

We saw Skeet Ulrich at this park and so we camwhored.

One eye closed means no one's home.

This is Jackie's awesome new room mate Kelly, who speaks Swedish and is so chill.
This is in Africa, too, and everyone in Africa can speak Swedish!

Jackie, Kelly, and her friend Tawnee.

Africaaaaa! Lady Smith Black Mambazo!

I spent too much money on Kanye glasses.

This is Mimi Chug-A-Forty. I adore her.

My editorial portrait of Natalie as an artist.

Homegrown Nate, y'all.

Alec using her 4x5 for the last assignment ever with the 4x5!

Drew her a delicious cupcake tattoo!

One day in Africa, I asked Alec to take some pictures of me jumping.

Finally, here are some shots from an Editorial Layout assignment we had to do.

Looking like Aphrodite.

As inspiring as Euterpe and Thalia too!
Especially since she attempted to turn me onto Miley Cyrus' music?

And that's all of my pictures from recently, I suppose!
Thanks for looking you guys, really sorry I don't post as often.
Now I have 7 days of sunshine and brain-dead tom-foolery to occupy myself with.
I MISS LA BROWN EYES. I miss my friends, I miss my house, I miss the intense heat of Oakley.
Summer's about to pop off though. :D
